Economic Development

The Division of Economic Development focuses on Marketing and Business Development. The Division maintains and markets proactive, professional economic development programs (REAP, FACADE) and services and works with local, regional and state organizations to offer technical assistance and support services that address both the attraction of new employers and the expansion and retention needs of existing companies. The Division also assists with grant opportunity identification, application and administration, provides staff assistance to partenering organizations (Rome Main Street, Rome Up and Running) and manages citywide marketing and public relations.
